I think it was Prodigy who wrote once about a beauty drain from Addison to Uptown. Friday night in Uptown I saw just about the best quality of girls I've seen out there in a while. It was really awesome.
Last night in Addison, quite the opposite... that place was insanely gay. It's really crazy how every decent looking girl in the metroplex has gone to Uptown. It used to be that there were a few good looking girls in Addison... but man I don't think I'll be returning there for a while... it was troll central. Depressing really, made you feel like a loser even hanging out there.
So just go to uptown. But then again, the Uptown scene gets old when that's ALL there is.
As large as DFW is, there must be other places to go out. Variety is the spice of life. Ok, I think the lack of a major University might have something to do with there being not that many places to go... but surely is more than just uptown.
At least Ft Worth is far enough away that the girls from there don't go out in Uptown. Who knows. I'm open to suggestions.

You are absolutely right about Addison. It's a beast haven. And there was a $5 troll toll last night. When I very first went to blackfinn about 4 years ago it may as well have been the playboy mansion, it was incredible. I was like a kid in a giant, beautiful candy store. I had never seen anything like it. Of course that can't last forever.
I'm not sure what you guys have against uptown. That's where the quality girls are. Sure they're harder to game. If they were easy you wouldn't need game, would you. Quality girls don't make it easy.
It isn't like downtown where they are all one dimensional, delusional, vacuous, vapid whores all hopelessly trying to make the scene. Most Uptown girls are full time workers or full time students, they have lives outside of the party scene.

If you're feeling particularly burnt out on the Dallas scene make a trip to Fort Worth or Denton. You've got about the quality of Addison but in a new environment.
I go out simply to have a good time with the boys. If I end up getting blown, cool. If I grab some numbers, cool. Doesn't particularly make much of a difference.
Here is the real dilemma:
If you are looking for a quality girlfriend you have about a 1% chance of finding her at a bar or a club.
On the other hand, you have about a 1% chance of meeting an 8 or above in everyday life. There just aren't many and the ones that do exist all love to party and fuck strangers.
What is a man to do...

I've written about the Beauty Drain before...but, any one of us should be able to easily see that dynamic hard at work.
My issue with Uptown is that everyone looks the same. When I'm there, I can't help but think that these women and guys all shop at the same stores, buy the same shit, and are just carbon copies of each other.
That's what I always liked about Addison. Used to be there would be some hotties, some chicks that were alternative, some trolls, some whores, some older chicks, etc. It wasn't as homogeneous.
This is one reason I like the Internet. There's all different types of women. The problem is that the good ones are flakey as fuck. And, they don't stay on there very long. Just use it as an experiment and then move on.
To remedy my need for different types of people, I'll hit up venues in Lakewood, East Dallas, Deep Ellum, Exposition Park, and one or two on Greenville. The problem with these venues is that they're not target rich. So, they're not capable of supporting more than two guys that know what they're doing. AND, you have to be patient. Sometimes you have to sit at the bar and hang out for a little while before something worth while walks in. Sometimes, they never do. I've never known PUAs to be that patient.
BUT, at least you're putting yourself in a place to hook up with something. And, the guys in these venues have less than zero Game so it's not even much of a competition.
In the end, Lion's right. Girls in bars are whores. Not all of them, but the vast majority. If you don't want to meet someone that closely resembles a cum bucket, then you're going to have to look elsewhere.

I love uptown, uptown is awesome. What's got me complaining is that it gets old always having to go to the same places to find hotties, but that's what there is, so I'll quit complaining. It would be nice if there were other target rich places to go, but there aren't. Maybe downtown, maybe Ft Worth, maybe greenville.
